The present owners took over Oakenshaw Grange in
Jan 1995 after a life-long career in caring. First for people and
then for dogs at their kennels in Bradford. They were attracted to
Oakenshaw Grange because of its excellent kennel facilities both
for short-term boarders and
quarantine boarders

| CARE-PLANS
|
| Details
are taken from the owners of each boarder's home routine, special
needs and peculiarities, these are recorded on your pet's
"Care-Plan Card" which will then accompany him/her to the kennel
or cattery to ensure all our staff know your pet. The staff will
record everything that happens to the boarder whilst under our
care in the report book on the card that will then accompany the
boarder back to reception when it's time to go home and a full
report can then be given to the owner. The "Care-Plan Card" us
then filed away with the pet's individual record for it's next
visit. |

| KENNELS
|
| All our
boarders are provided with insulated hygienic beds & freshly
laundered veterinary bedding. All kennels are stripped down &
thoroughly cleaned & disinfected at least once a day using only
non-toxic environmentally friendly products. The kennels are of
modern design and all dogs have access to their own secure
attached run all day when the weather permits. We do not exercise
the dogs here at Oakenshaw because we like the dogs to be secure
at all times & to be kept free from the risk of cross-infection,
worms etc. that they may pick up from communal exercise areas. |

| FEEDING
|
| Only high
quality "own label" complete foods are used at Oakenshaw Grange.
The only exceptions being dogs fed on meat & biscuits at home and
only staying with us for a day or two (We make no sudden changes
to their diet ) and those pets on a particular diet requested &
provided by the owners. |

We are open
Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9
a.m. to 5 p.m. We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays. |
